Typical Programs
Medical assistant training that varies in length.
Traditionally, there are two types of medical assistant
programs, either two-years at a junior, or community college,
which will result in an Applied Associate’s (A.A.S.)
degree in medical assisting, or a one-year, or less
(accelerated 9-12 months) medical assistant program at a
vocational training institution that will result in a
diploma.
