MA student headache Those looking for a fitting post-secondary medical assistant training program must first understand the meaning and purpose of vocational training...
Armed with the following information, potential medical assisting students, especially those considering their education online will be better equipped to make an informed decision before signing up for any of these type programs.
Unless potential medical assistant students  know what to look for in a program, and understand the difference between properly accredited and fully accredited vs. the multitude of gray-area, non-accredited, or flat-out illegitimate programs offered online, they might be in for a rude awakening.


Consumer Beware!

Don't become one of those horror stories where medical assistant students wind up with certificates that are completely worthless, and job placement assistance that consisted of nothing but list of doctors from in the Yellow Pages (if that much!).

Consumers must be aware that there are gray-area, non-accredited programs, or diploma mills as defined by the U.S. Department of Education and/or Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) designed to move unsuspecting consumer's money into their pocket for little in exchange. It is up to each individual to decide which type of medical assistant program best meets their needs.
